This guy was a best seller at the St Abbs Woolfest In November, he’ll be on a card in the new year, and he’s available now as a mounted print from the Etsy Shop.
I think I’ve caught up with all the latest artwork!
In the next post I’ll tell you all about my other adventures into the C17th.
This little guy – well I’m not sure I can bear to part with him. I think he might be living here permanently!
It’s a logwood base again – cottons and silks, and the hare drawn with free motion embroidery, then appliqué and hand stitching too.
Again he’ll be a card next year, meanwhile he’s available as a print in the Etsy Shop.
Logwood is a natural dye that gives the most amazing purple colour. This guy is now ready for framing (I’ve got lots of framing to organise!)
He’s drawn with free motion embroidery on a base of cottons and silks. There will be cards next year, meanwhile he’s available as a mounted print from the Etsy Shop.
Finished and ready to frame!
I loved making this picture – the felt was lovely and thick and there is something really special about indigo dye. The colours just bounce off each other.
She’ll be available as a card next year and is available now as a mounted print from the Etsy Shop.
