Article Commission

Last time I was in Stitch Magazine was way back in 2006 with the Towers of Flowers.

I’ve been commission to write about my present day practise and it should be in the August/September issue.  12 years is FAR too long a gap!

Luna Hare – SOLD!

Luna Hare full Luna Hare was, still is one of my smaller framed pieces who sold at St Abbs.

(When they leave me it almost feels like a bereavement, or sending out your children into the world on their own, silly, but very true!)

St Abbs Woolfest

First booking of the year and a great day – met so many lovely people, both customers and stall holders. Next weekend I’m at Durham EG with the new talk on hares followed by a workshop on Sunday where I’ll be teaching drawing with the sewing machine.

Its the most awful gloomy, cold, damp, depressing day in Northumberland. So its lunchtime with warming homemade soup (tomato with a dash of carrots and lentils) and a new magazine coinciding with my crush on #Shetland #shetlandheritage . One day I’ll get there.
